Responsibilities:
Provide chairside support to dentists during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Perform sterilization of instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required, following all safety protocols.
Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment, ensuring proper sanitation and organization.
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
Help patients feel comfortable and at ease before, during, and after treatment.
Perform various office tasks as necessary to support the smooth operation of the practice.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction and care.
Accurately chart existing and proposed treatment in patients' records.
Provide postoperative instructions as prescribed by the dentist.
Dismiss patients with proper hand-offs to other departments, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the dental office.
